Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens provides families with exceptional settings for the permanent memorials of their loved ones. With acres of rolling green lawns, and memorial benches shaded by beautiful pear trees, Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens is a perfect place for families to return, year after year, in remembrance and honor.

Sometimes one family member wants to be buried and another wishes to be cremated, yet they want to be together. Because we know this to be a common wish, Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens makes it simple for families. We can easily arrange for a common burial of both your loved ones in the same space.

Ground Burial

Traditionally, in-ground burial has been the choice of many families. We provide families with many in-ground burial options, including large family estate lots, multiple space lots and single grave spaces. Depending on the needs of the family, there are many areas throughout the cemetery to choose.

Cremation Options

Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens can guide you through a variety of options and facilities for the interment of cremated remains. Currently, we do not offer niches, mausoleums or urn gardens within our cemetery, however, we can assist families in locating the right facility to meet their needs. Cremation niches are available in some local mausoleums, and other facilities offer outdoor cremation gardens as well. These small in-ground lots can accommodate two urns and are memorialized with flush bronze memorials.

For those families who desire it, we do offer in-ground burial for both casketed and cremated remains, in the same cemetery space. We also provide bench, tree and various other options for the memorial interment of cremated remains.

Mausoleums

Mausoleums allow for above ground entombment in either community buildings or specially designed family structures. At one time the advantages of mausoleum entombment were available only to royalty, the famed or the very wealthy. Well-known mausoleums include the Taj Mahal, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Egyptian Pyramids. Mausoleum property is now affordable to most everyone.

Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens can assist you in the selection of a community mausoleum with crypt space for single caskets, and cremation niches which can hold one to six cremations. Families may opt to have a glass front on the niche, which allows them to place a photo or personal memento in the niche. This memento may be placed at the time of service or later at the convenience of the family.

Only just recently have family mausoleums become an affordable and viable option for more and more families. Annual sales of family mausoleums have increased 2200% in the past 20 years and are expected to continually increase in the future.
