Mickey is a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County. He was born and grew up on the property where the Funeral Home and Cemetery are now located. He is a 1977 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and received his funeral service education at Gupton-Jones College in Atlanta. He is a fully licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Georgia, is National Board Certified, and is a licensed Life Insurance Agent. He has been married since 1979 to Karen Reed Maddox, who is also a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County. They have two daughters, Amanda and Michael and are members of First Baptist Church of Buford. |
